Women’s Bible Study
Once a month our ladies meet up on a Sunday evening at 18:00 for Bible study. We believe that studying the Bible together is a vital part of our relationship with Christ. We would love for any other ladies to join in on the next meeting:
Men’s Bible Study
Through out the year our men meet up on a Sunday evenings at 18:00 for Bible study. This is a time where men can come together to help each other grow in their relationship with God. We would love for any other men to join in on the next meeting: 13 October
Family Fun Night
Come join us on Sunday 20 October at 18:00 for a crazy night of fun and games. We will be kicking off half term with a fun night of games for the whole family to enjoy.
This time we will be having a fancy dress night for the whole family. It’s Disney themed so dress up as your favourite Disney, Pixar, Marvel, or Star Wars character.
You are invited to join us for our Men’s Breakfast on Saturday 9 November at 9:00 at Toby Carvery (Crook Log). This is a great chance to meet new men in the church and enjoy some conversation over plates full of bacon.
Come remember what Christ has done for us during our 11:00 morning service on 10 November. Communion is a wonderful picture of what Christ accomplished on the cross, and as a church, we celebrate Christ’s resurrection through taking the Lord’s Supper together. If you are a believer, you are more than welcome to join us for our next communion service.
“For I received from the Lord what I also delivered to you, that the Lord Jesus on the night when he was betrayed took bread, and when he had given thanks, he broke it, and said, ‘This is my body, which is for you. Do this in remembrance of me.’ In the same way also he took the cup, after supper, saying, ‘This cup is the new covenant in my blood. Do this, as often as you drink it, in remembrance of me.’ For as often as you eat this bread and drink the cup, you proclaim the Lord's death until he comes.”
1 Corinthians 11:23–26
Everyone is welcome to join us for NEXT, a time where the leaders share the vision for what is coming NEXT at Welling Church. This is a time where we focus in on who God has called us to be as a church, so that we can together do what God has called us to do. We invite you to join us on this evening to discover what the diary holds for 2020 and to learn how you can participate in what is NEXT.
On Sunday morning 19 January we will be having a special time of dedication for some of our new born babies in the church.
When we dedicate our children to the Lord, we are acknowledging that they are a precious gift from God. We are taking responsibility for guiding and training our children according to the Bible and nurturing them in God’s ways.
“For this child I prayed, and the LORD has granted me my petition that I made to him. Therefore I have lent him to the LORD. As long as he lives, he is lent to the LORD.” 1 Samuel 1:27–28
