125 Years!

Join us on 19 May for our 11:00 AM service as we celebrate God allowing our church to be here in Welling for the past 125 years. We will have a special guest, Pastor Yannick Christos-Wahab from Stockwell Baptist Church.

Following the service, we will have a church-wide BBQ in the back car park or inside if the weather does not allow it. A sign-up sheet for what to bring will be available in church on Sunday mornings.

Baby Steps

Baby Steps meets every Tuesday from 10:30 to 11:30 to provide support for mums with under 5s. We meet in the back hall with plenty of space for the little ones to run and crawl around while the mums do a short Bible study and pray. It’s a great time of encouragement and support. Men’s Breakfast

A few times a year we get together for a Men’s Breakfast. This is a great opportunity to meet new men in the church and enjoy some conversation over plates full of bacon. We pray you are able to join us!

Ladies Brunch

We get together a few times a year for a Ladies Brunch at 10:00 at the church. This is an excellent opportunity to meet new women in the church and enjoy some conversation over a lovely breakfast. We pray you can join us at our next brunch.

Men’s Meating

Join us on 3 June for a night of feasting on meat (pork belly, sausage, pulled pork, steak) and the Word of God. We will have a special guest, Steve Palframan, pastor of West Kilburn Baptist Church in North London. This will be a Monday night you want to attend.

Women’s Prayer and Praise

All ladies are welcome to attend a night of prayer and praise on 22 June at 6 PM. This will be an interactive evening of worshipping God together and lifting up thanksgiving and requests to Him. So please join us for a time of fellowship and encouragement with the rest of the brilliant women in our church.

Women’s Small Groups

We offer many different opportunities for women to get together and study the Bible throughout the year. Most of these groups will do a short study that lasts 4-8 weeks, so there are plenty of opportunities to join in.

Men’s Bible Study

Some of our men meet up for spiritual development throughout the year. We strive to help men fulfil the God-given responsibility to lead in the home and church. Please get in touch with one of the pastors to learn when the next start date is for joining this group.

Baptism Sunday

During a morning service, we will celebrate the new Christians who have publicly declared their faith in Jesus Christ. Baptism is a Christian’s first step of obedience in living for Jesus Christ after giving their life to God and making Him Lord of their life.

“And Jesus came and said to them, ‘All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptising them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.’” Matthew 28:18–20 

Communion Sunday

Communion is a beautiful picture of what Christ accomplished on the cross, and as a church, we celebrate Christ’s resurrection by taking the Lord’s Supper together. If you are a born-again believer, you are more than welcome to join us for our next communion service.

Our next communion service will be 5 May 2024.

“For I received from the Lord what I also delivered to you, that the Lord Jesus on the night when he was betrayed took bread, and when he had given thanks, he broke it, and said, ‘This is my body, which is for you. Do this in remembrance of me.’ In the same way also he took the cup, after supper, saying, ‘This cup is the new covenant in my blood. Adventures Club is back for both primary and secondary! If you have children or teens that would like to learn more about God in a fun filled and safe environment, you are invited to join us.

Family Fun Night

One of our favourite events that we do throughout the year is Family Fun Night. It is like being at a game show where you are both the audience and the participant. Each Family Fun Night has it’s own theme and contains loads of games that the whole family can participate in whether you’re in Year 2 or the world’s best Nan!
