Update From Your Pastors

Dear Welling Church family,

Autumn is off, and the business has begun already. If you are like us, when life gets busy, it is easy to feel run down and tired. Our walk with Christ begins to struggle, and before you know it, we are falling back into bad habits.

Thankfully, God gave us a remedy for this, the church, to help us when we feel our weakest. Adding more to a busy schedule may seem counterproductive, but adding things with your church will give you the extra needed to sustain the busy times in life.

One of the things we need to be reminded of when life is weighing us down is the bright future we have in Christ. Our earthly body is inadequate, and ultimately, we were not meant to feel at home here. Paul’s letter to the Philippians serves as a powerful reminder:

“But our citizenship is in heaven, and from it we await a Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ, who will transform our lowly body to be like his glorious body, by the power that enables him even to subject all things to himself”. — Philippians 3:20-21

So, if the business of Autumn weighs on you, take heart at our future appointment of glorification, when everything will be perfect, and life will never be a burden again.
